After the first lesson of planning our movie opening we decided we had enough inspiration from post-apocalyptic films and a good idea to start our storyboard. Our story is about a girl who is a survivor of a pandemic. Scientists have found the cure to the common cold in 2015 and vaccinated hundreds of thousand's of people, however the cure went wrong and instead of curing the people it created a virus spreading world wide. Scientists managed to control the virus to a certain extent however the virus can still spread and has affected most of the population. 10 years later Abbie is the survivor of the apocalypse and is doing all she can to stay alive...
Because we had the idea we created a story board for the opening. We had to think about including a range of shots and making a opening that captivates the audience and makes them interested in the opening. We got inspiration from many films from our research for example I Am Legend, The Book Of Eli and Breaking Bad. The story board contains each different shot we will be including in our opening.
