Recce shots of locations.

As a group we decided to start looking at locations for our film. Since we didn't want too many locations in our film we decided to stick to just one. I put forward my garage which is fairly old a dingy, we thought this would be a good place to use as our survivor hide out as it looks old, authentic and it is small therefore the infected wouldn't find her easily. Here is the inside of my garage!-

This will be Abbie's hideout where she sleeps and uses the logs she has chopped to keep warm and take shelter. A you can see the garage looks compact and old showing the effect the virus has had on building's and technology. We will be filming most of the opening in this room however it will be decorated to look better and we will also add some props such as a compact log burner, an army bag and an old matrass to make it look like her hideout. We decided to do the film in a girls perspective because this is unusual in post-apocalyptic films. Abbie will use this room for shelter and to scavenge for food in the wilderness.

The location of my house and garage is in the countryside and is vacant. We thought this would suit the film as her hideout would be in a quiet area where she couldn't get infected. Here is the picture of the garage door and the window we will be using for the cliff-hanger at the end:
