Production company.

Here Toby has drawn up some of the ideas we had in class for our production companies. A production company is a company that makes the film or promotes it. They all have a logo and a trademark, some well-known companies include Lions Gate, Warner Bro's and Universal studios, however there are many more. I came up with the idea Iron Gate, as this would fit into our genre of post-apocalyptic films. The gate represents the character going into unknown areas scavenging and hunting for survival. The gates are also quite spooky. However after coming up with the idea we soon realised that the idea that we had couldn't be created with the software we had. The idea was too complicated and needed a lot of work. Although we had a back up plan and it was a very good idea. We decided to make a production company with the name coming up but in the background there would be splashes of blood. This fits in better than our original idea as in our opening the character shoots a person and would do throughout the film to survive. We played about with the software are created an awesome logo that looks very good in our opening and also fits well with the genre.
