Over the past few day we have been discussing what the film should be called and the character's name. We had a few ideas such as 'survivor' however we didn't get anything we really liked. During the lesson we did a bit of research looking for a name. We thought we could call the film the characters name, however we wanted a name that linked to the character and the film itself. We looked on Google translator and started looking for names that meant things related to our character/film. We found the name Bellator which means fighter/survivor in Latin. We shortened this name to Bella and thought it would be a good name to the film as it links the character as she is fighting for her life and is a survivor of an apocalypse.
Furthermore in that lesson we also wanted to come up with a production company for a film, a few ideas where chucked about but then eventually I came up with the name 'Iron Gate Productions'. We are thinking of making an animation of a rusty, spooky gate opening up with a glimmer of light and then in the light there is the production company name. I thought this would be a good idea as it fits with the genre as it looks mysterious.
I quite like the idea of this production company logo, however mine would have a gate instead of the windows and curtains with the light shining through.
