Recce shots.

Today Shannon went out and took some pictures of the locations we are thinking of filming, the first being a Burt out spooky building. We thought this would be a good shot because the building fits in with our genre as it looks like it has been vandalised and looted. It also creates enigma in the fact that the viewer can wonder what has happened to the building. It also highlights the fact that there has been a pandemic and many building's would be destroyed or vandalised post apocalypse. Furthermore we took inspiration from I Am Legend as it includes shots of ruined building and bridges ect. We thought it would look good if we had a shot like this included. In addition we could also have a cut in/cut away shot so if makes it look like our characters hid out is inside that building.
                                                                        
                      
 Another location that we considered filming was on the top of pit tip in Kirkby in Ashfield, here you can see a great view of the surroundings. We thought this would be a god shot to show the viewer the scale of the pandemic and to give him an insight that a large area has been affected. The view from pit tip will also be a good shot to add some titles and play about with the effect's to make it look dark and the sky to look Moorish. Overall the recce shots are good to have as we can look at them and asses wheather we want to film there or not. Hopefully we can go out one day in the week if the weather is right and go and get these shots. Here are the pictures from pit tip:
